Relieving the condition

Our physiotherapists’ main expertise is orthopaedic physiotherapy. They give advice, guidance and treatment to people with complaints affecting the musculoskeletal system. Complaints include pain, reduced muscle strength or movement restriction in the ankles, knees, back, shoulders and neck. They also play an important role in the rehabilitation of patients following an accident, operation or sports injury. Plexus Physiotherapy Amsterdam treats these complaints with physiotherapy.

Our physiotherapists treat complaints such as:

  • pain in the lower back and neck
  • arm, neck and shoulder pain (CANS, RSI)
  • headaches and dizziness
  • sports injuries (acute, strain)
  • pelvic (floor) complaints
  • overview of orthopaedic complaints

What is the physiotherapy treatment procedure?

First, the physiotherapist looks for the cause of your complaint and then draws up a treatment plan in consultation with you. If necessary, your treatment may involve other disciplines. For your treatment, the physiotherapist might use a variety of massage techniques, techniques for improving joint mobility, dry needling and Kinesio tape. You will do specific muscle exercises to improve your stamina and strength. You will receive advice, guidance and insight into healthy movement. The therapist will make good use of our well-equipped exercise rooms.

Our physiotherapy Amsterdam practices are located throughout the entire city.
