Hip pain is common, symptoms are often motion-related or posture-related hip or groin pain. Pain can also be felt in the back, buttock or upper leg. Complementing the pain may be sensations of clicking, stiffness, limited range of motion, lock complaints felt. Complaints can also come from the vertebrae, for which the physiotherapist can perform an extensive examination and assessment.
Approach consists of patient education, expectation policy, lifestyle and load adjustment. Exercise therapy is aimed at improving hip and core stability, neuronmuscular control, strength, range of motion and movement patterns under the supervision of a physiotherapist.
